In Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, you’ll find a remarkable destination for car enthusiasts: Lumber Room. Founded in 2024, this young company calls itself “Home for your car”. The name refers back to the tradition of British aristocracy, where a lumber room served as a special place to store valuable, rarely used objects. Lumber Room believes that exceptional cars deserve that same level of care today.
Their facility combines storage, maintenance, restoration, and presentation of classic and exclusive cars – complemented by club evenings, events, and even a racing simulator. It’s a mix of car club, showroom, and workshop, with passion for cars at its core. And for that passion, they also needed a practical and stylish solution…
A turntable as both stylish and functional
When setting up their facility, the founders wanted a way to easily rotate cars during handovers, while also showcasing them impressively at events or during content productions. With their sleek and carefully finished space, they sought a solution that would be both functional and visually in line with their concept. That’s how they found Pre-Motion. The turntable was installed in the handover and presentation area: an industrial-style space with a modern finish. Thanks to its height of only 27 mm, the turntable lies neatly on the existing floor – without the need for recessing or ramps. The result is a clean look that perfectly matches the high-end image of the brand. Today, the turntable is used for car handovers, photography, and club activities.
