Continued growth of Axero through efficient routing and photo studio
As a result of rapid growth, Axero trades around 7,500 used cars a year from Enschede. At the end of 2017 it became clear that the existing location was becoming too small for this. Fortunately, a location was found a stone’s throw away where the growth under the new name (Axero was called Beernink & De Bekker until recently) could continue unabated. Moreover, the move offered the opportunity to revamp and streamline the entire process from intake to advertising, leaving room for further growth in addition to the 7,500 cars per year.
Ideal routing in the entire company
In order to make this possible, the ideal routing was thought out and drawn up, and investments were made in a washing line, an inspection line and an automated photo studio with a turntable. It was important that there were no bottlenecks; after all, the entire process is only as fast as the slowest link. So it was soon clear to Axero that the Photo-Motion process specialists were the right choice for the photo studio. Together with Axero, Photo-Motion designed the whole process and made it perfectly to measure. They took into account turning circles, entry and exit angles and maximising the number of parking spaces in the building.

Interactive 360° experience
In addition to the faster process, the Axero photo studio also offers the possibility of making interactive 360° spinners fully automatically. Given the overcapacity in the studio, they do this not only for their own cars but also for car companies in the region, such as Baan Automotive from Hengelo. Specific intelligent work processes have been set up for the various buyers of the images, so that everyone receives the right, yet distinctive series. The operators only have to select the right customer and the software does the rest.
