Seats and Sofas is a leading retail chain in seating furniture, with dozens of megastores in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. The range consists of a large collection of sofas, corner sofas, armchairs, and sofa beds that are available directly from stock. That scale and speed not only require efficient logistics, but also professional and consistent product presentation. Images are playing an increasingly important role in this, especially now that online visibility, recognizability, and uniformity are essential in e-commerce and marketing.

Together with Pre-Motion, Seats and Sofas created a permanent furniture photography studio, in which efficiency and repeatability are key. At the heart of this solution is an UltraLow turntable with a diameter of 5 meters. This turntable has been specially developed for large and heavy objects and makes it possible to rotate furniture in a controlled and smooth manner.

Because the furniture remains in place and only the turntable rotates, all desired camera angles can be easily captured. This ensures a faster work process, less physical strain, and a consistent way of photographing. The turntable thus forms the basis of a streamlined workflow, but is part of a broader, integrated studio concept.
